Eagle’s View Inn & Suites is the ideal basecamp for any outdoor adventure.
Local recreation opportunities include hiking in the Eagle Cap Wilderness, lake and river fishing, guided horseback riding, golfing in Joseph and Enterprise, boating on Wallowa Lake, river rafting, swimming, and more. Cyclists will enjoy trails ranging from undeveloped mountain routes to scenic valley routes, including those traveled by Cycle Oregon, as well as a newly-constructed bike trail between Joseph and Enterprise. Enjoy the quiet beauty of winter while skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, or attend the annual Eagle Cap Extreme sled dog race.
Joseph, a few minutes up the valley, is home to nationally-renowned bronze foundries. Take a foundry tour, or just admire the statues that line its streets under the majestic bulk of Chief Joseph Mountain. While you’re in town, sit down for a cup of freshly roasted coffee at Red Horse Coffee Traders.
Just beyond Joseph is Wallowa Lake, with its geologically perfect glacial moraines. Stop by the Chief Joseph Monument, here in the heart of the Nez Perce homeland. Be sure to take the Wallowa Lake Tramway to the top of Mount Howard for a breathtaking 360° view. And dinner at Vali’s Alpine Restaurant is the perfect end to a day in Wallowa County.
Visit Wallowa’s Chamber of Commerce Website for more information on the area.

Clean, clean, clean rooms!… did I mention the ROOMS WERE CLEAN!!!! Jolana, Manager & Does Everything, is absolutely FANTASTIC!!! This is a great place to spend a night, or a week, and feel refreshed. The pool & hot tub are great for road-weary travelers. I have stayed here twice and plan to utilize again on my next trip. Jolana is a true ‘difference maker’ and is efficient/friendly/covid locked-in all at the same time. “
PERFECT PLACE TO STAY IN ENTERPRISE
“Every positive review that we read before we arrived was true and then some. From the moment we arrived the property was perfect for our stay. Wonderful staff greets you in a clean and welcoming lobby. Scenery from the bluff the hotel sits on is simply breathtaking. Pool, Spa and common areas of the hotel are impeccably maintained. Room was super comfortable and well laid out. Beds were comfortable and made for great rest after days of exploring the area. Even in the Covid crazy days, the hotel protocols deal with things in a very efficient and as obtrusive free manner as is possible. We absolutely will stay here again and highly recommend to any who are coming to this area.”
